Vancouver, BC – June 12, 2011 – Mark Miller, President of Great Pacific Media Inc.., a full- service factual television production and production services company, announced a number of new hires over the past several weeks to keep up with a record production slate for 2011/12.
The company named long time Canadian production finance and accounting executive Mike Sloane as its Chief Financial Officer.
In the content area, Australian television veteran Greg Thorpe (Border Security, My Restaurant Rules, My Kitchen Rules and Surprise Chef) becomes Director of Development. And long-time LA showrunner Dan Jackson (Confessions: Animal Hoarding, Monster House, Crash Files: Inside the NTSB, Rescue 911, America’s Most Wanted) assumes the role of Director of Business Development.
Keeping the busy production center running is Tacita Nordhoff (Bulging Brides, Fat Lab, Village on a Diet) who was named Director of Production.
